hi there.....

i'm picking up the skills in using Illustrator CS. i'm wondering which is the recommended technique to illustrate hair...especially long fine hair, as i'm trying to illustrate a pic with long hair.

you have to create it using the pen tool. If you already have a reference picture that you creating then its fine. If not then get a picture that has the desired long hair and trace its hair.

You can also use brushes as required.
