I am developing a presentation and i am facing a great deal of problem. I had used diffrent .swf and by using loadMovie i had added external files. But what i was thinking that it was still taking lots of time to load the second movie. So what is was thinking was while i was loading the first movie (.swf file) can we preload the second file (.swf file) so that it would not wast time loading the file.
I hope somebody can help me.... Please do...
Thank you |

Hello Rubin,
Yes you can preload the movie when the first movie completes its loading process load the external movie into a movieclip placed on the first movie's scene and assign it an instance name, but in the external movie make the first frame blank and place the 'stop();' command on that frame.
Now, the movie will be loading in the background, when you need to play that movie just play the external movie using telltarget function. |
